I am an Assistant Professor at Azim Premji University, Bengaluru campus. Prior to this, I was a Postdoctoral Fellow with the World Inequality Lab at PSE and CES and a Visiting Researcher at the Centre for Macroeconomics, London School of Economics. I hold a PhD in Economics from the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi.

My research focuses on exploring inequality, redistribution, and the welfare implication of monetary and fiscal policies, with a particular emphasis on developing macroeconomic models (e.g., HANK-DSGE models) and testing them using survey data, especially for the Indian economy.
